Baile funk parties have a particular purpose alongside music - they stand for community, welcoming & mixing many different influences, and progressing the culture. We will pay tribute to those values as they resonate as our own.
Time: 10-2am, Bissap Baobab, Mission, SF
Funds collected from the show will be used to put on a show in partnership with Fort Mason Arts Center on 2/22 - Biophillic Continuum Fashion Show. Tickets go live on Jan 10. See

Event Brief: An introductory event to Brazilian influences for much of the audience, focusing on the vibes prominent in Brazilian culture, alongside with The Web, an art collective @theweb.artists to bring un-divisive artistic expression and community building, where you come to enjoy a shared moment with the homies. The vibes are meant to be artistic, passionate, and fun. We are going for a celebration of Baile funk music, influences and culture and for the social building components. This is a little bit of what we’re known for - incorporating novel ideas and bringing a harmonious fusion of ideas to an established and new audiences.
