About
Run Length: 5-7km Pace: Easy run pace, including run-walk intervals; faster or longer sections for those seeking extra challenge.
An early Summer trail run in Wanstead Park - returning to the woodland trails where we last saw the Spring bluebells (now resting until next Spring). The paths are likely to be dry and dusty this season; a chance for to compare it to the winter mud-fest. Do you have a preference? If so, why? A chance to compare and contrast. This run is at a social pace, with opportunities to slow down or speed up, or go longer, for those that want an extra challenge. A chance to chat and share stories or hopes for your trail running experiences. Suitable for those new to trail-running. Run-walk intervals are actively encouraged and welcomed. We will return to the Sunflower Cafe for those that want to buy post-run refreshments or to return to the nearby rail stations. We look forward to you joining us on this urban trail adventure!
Meeting place instructions: We will meet inside the cafe; where we will also finish the run. Toilets available in the cafe and at also at the trail run location.
