LET'S GET OUTSIDE! Join us on the 3rd Sundays, most months, for a different hike around Atlanta and North Georgia
Please note: Hikerodose events are only for contributing members of our community (who donate monthly) and for those who have come in for a private sacrament ceremony with our ministers in the past 12 months.

This Hikerodose will be on Sun, July 19 from 2pm-6pm, moderate difficulty, in beautiful Sawnee Mountain (45 min Northeast of downtown Atlanta)
TRAIL:
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/georgia/indian-seats-trail-loop
DURATION / DIFFICULTY:
It's a moderate 3.6 mile loop leaving plenty of room in the beginning and end to talk and get to know each other. The trail has 508 ft elevation change and a variety of interesting views. There are beautiful expansive scenic viewpoints, a fairy forest, and a special gazeebo for an intentional moment of sharing at the midpoint.
ENTRANCE:
2500 Bettis Tribble Gap Rd, Cumming, GA 3004
If you're coming from south of Cumming, then you'll take the right into the parking area (not the left)
MEETING LOCATION:
We'll meet up near a few picnic tables and a restroom with a water fountain
✔️Shoes with good tread
✔️Sunscreen, shades, hat
✔️Water bottle
✔️Layered clothing as the temps may be varied
✔️Snacks or a whole bag lunch
✔️A small backpack may be nice to have
KIDS:
Children are welcome as long as they are old enough to keep up on this hike or can be carried on your back
PETS:
Dogs are not allowed, sadly.
PARKING:
There's plenty of free parking in the lot
FORMAT:
2:00pm - Arrive and bring everything you need in a backpack
2:15pm - Circle up for introductions, intention setting and subtle sacrament
2:30pm - Possible movement and mindfulness practice when we find some open green space (Thai Chi or Qi Gong) led by one of our members -- beginner friendly
3:00pm - Hike to midpoint, have lunch / picnic and discussion
4:30pm - Begin return trip back to parking lot
6:00pm - Closing circle and departure
The focus of this gathering is communion with sacrament at a level that everyone will be present and feel more connected to each other and nature.
Expect an elevated mood and sense of well-being.
The vibe will be warm and supportive. We always end up in the deep end of existential topics.
We lead with vulnerability and we welcome yours.
