About
YoPro Hikes is heading to OC for our next adventure! 🥾🌿🌊
Join us on Saturday, June 27th as we make our way to Black Star Canyon Falls Trail for a fun morning hike in Orange County. This one is a little different from our usual LA hikes — we’re taking the crew out to OC for a scenic canyon trail, a bit of adventure, and a great way to spend the weekend with awesome people.
This is a 6.8-mile out-and-back hike with 823 ft of elevation gain. It’s rated hard, not because of the elevation, but because parts of the trail get more rugged and adventurous near the end, with rocky terrain, stream crossings, and some boulder hopping on the way to the falls. So if you’re looking for something a little more exciting than your usual fire road hike, this is the one.
Whether you’re coming for the workout, the waterfall, the challenge, or the community, this hike is going to be a fun one. And since we’re going to OC for this one, it makes for a great little weekend adventure outside the usual routine.
Hike details: Distance: 6.8 miles Time: ~3–4 hours Difficulty: Hard Elevation Gain: 823 ft Meeting Time: 8:00 AM Location: Black Star Canyon Falls Trail, Cleveland National Forest
A few notes:
Please arrive a little early so we can start on time
Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and good hiking shoes
This trail has rocky sections and some light scrambling near the end, so come prepared
Downloading the trail offline is a good idea since service can be spotty
An Adventure Pass may be required for parking
Come solo or come with friends — either way, you’ll be in good company
So grab your hiking shoes, bring your sense of adventure, and come join us for a fun day out in OC with the YoPro crew.

Brunch after: We’ll head to Snooze in Orange after the hike for brunch and hangs with the group. There’s nearby parking and it’s a solid post-hike brunch spot
